At the request of Fr. Tom Gardner, Fr. Bill Johnson Council #11665 supported the St. Francis de Sales Feast of Christ the King Eucharistic Mass and Procession. The Mass was said in memory of deceased brothers of our Council. We provided seven 4th degree members dressed in Regalia, as well as the readers for all three readings, the MC for the Mass, and multiple Extraordinary Ministers in support of communion.
Following Mass, those same 4th degree members, along with four brothers carrying the canopy, and several other brothers providing traffic control during a procession around the campus grounds. Fr. Tom (council Chaplain) processed with Jesus in the Monstrance, Fr. Mike Gentry blessed the grounds with salt, Deacon Eric (council brother) provided support to the priests, and Josh Dziatkowicz (council brother and Diaconate candidate) led the overall procession. Altogether, there was an estimated 200 parishioners in the roughly ¼ mile procession.
