The Knights of Columbus is a proud supporter of Life at all stages – “from Womb to Natural Death”. On 10/3/2025, Fr. Bill Johnson Council #11665 (along with members of our parish St. Francis de Sales in Newark, Ohio and its Respect Life Group and many other brother Knights from councils throughout Ohio) participated in the 4th annual State of Ohio March For Life. While no official number has been released, the attendance was very similar to recent previous years. That would mean there were about 6000 people of faith and other supporters marching for life!
John Lang, our Council Life Director advertised the event to the Parish along with the Respect Life group through the bulletin and Flocknotes. We also offered a car-pooling option. Altogether, a known nine members of St. Francis and our council were in attendance. And one was even a volunteer for Marshal Chris Sarka.
The march was preceded mass, music, and a pre-march rally. Participants then marched about a mile through the heart of Columbus, starting and ending at the Ohio Statehouse.
