From 7/12/2025 to 8/16/2025, nearly 25 men from St. Francis gathered in Murphy Hall on Saturday morning for the first of six consecutive sessions of a video series called Into the Breach. Into the Breach is a Knights of Columbus produced video series which seeks to answer the question of what it takes to be a man in today’s world. Dan Bell, Faith Director for the Knights of Columbus Fr. Bill Johnson Council #11665 at St. Francis de Sales organized the Saturday morning sessions with coffee, donuts, and 30 minutes of videos. Following the session’s video, the men broke into small groups to reflect and discuss the material. Brother Knights volunteered to lead these small group discussions. Each small group closed with prayer. Altogether, the twelve videos (two per week) covered:

• Masculinity and Brotherhood
• Leadership and Fatherhood
• Family and Life
• Prayer and Suffering
• Sacramental Life and Spiritual Warfare, and
• Evangelization and The Cornerstone

The event proved thought provoking and personally rewarding to those that attended.
