Knight of Columbus Since 1966 / Treasurer for 25 Years

Brother Gene Sullivan was recently recognized for his many years as a Knight and Treasurer for the Council as he is stepping down from his role. Above he is accepting his resolution and plaque from Grand Knight Dave Shallenbarger and below is what the resolution officially states:

RESOLUTION

FR. BILL JOHNSON COUNCIL 11665

EUGENE F. SULLIVAN

WHEREAS,     Eugene F. Sullivan joined the Knights of Columbus on March 1, 1966 and completed his 1^st and 2^nddegrees; and

WHEREAS,     Mr. Sullivan advanced to the 3^rd degree on April 1, 1966; and

WHEREAS,     Mr. Sullivan became a Charter Member of the Fr. Bill Johnson Council 11665 on November 12, 1995; and

WHEREAS,     Mr. Sullivan advanced to the Fourth Degree of the Knights of Columbus on October 12, 1996; and

WHEREAS,     Mr. Sullivan is an Honorary Life Member of the Fr. Bill Johnson Council 11665; and

WHEREAS,     Mr. Sullivan is an Honorary Life Member of the Bishop Michael J. Ready Assembly 830; and

WHEREAS,     Mr. Sullivan served as Trustee for 5 years followed by Treasurer of the Fr. Bill Johnson Council 11665 for the last 25 years; and             

WHEREAS,     Mr. Sullivan has served as Faithful Navigator, Faithful Trustee, Faithful Scribe and Faithful Outer Sentinel of the Bishop Michael J. Ready Assembly 830; and

WHEREAS,     Mr. Sullivan married his wife Connie on October 23, 1976 and they will be celebrating their 50^th Wedding Anniversary this year; and

WHEREAS,     Mr. Sullivan is a member of St. Francis de Sales Parish in Newark, Ohio and is a Eucharistic Minister, attends That Man Is You, regular attendee at Adoration, attended Alpha and participated in Christ Renews His Parish. 

THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, 

that the Grand Knight, officers and members of the Fr. Bill Johnson Council 11665 attending this regular business meeting in Newark, Ohio July 7, 2026, do hereby congratulate and offer our sincerest thanks to Treasurer Eugene F. Sullivan for his many years of commitment and dedication to the Knights of Columbus Fr. Bill Johnson Council 11665.
