Fr. Bill Johnson Council #11665 had the privilege of hosting this year’s Pilgrim Icon, the Sacred Heart of Jesus from 11/8 through 11/14/2025. We were able to display it during eight Masses throughout the week as well as share it with several St. Francis de Sales parish ministries. These ministries included Lectio Divina, That Man Is You, The Upper Room, and SFDS School’s Divine Mercy Chaplet/Rosary with Fr. Tom. We also had a Holy Hour following an evening weekday Mass where we included Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and three Relics in the parishes care (St. Paul the Apostle, St. Leonard, and St. Lucy). Brother Deacon Eric Wright led those present in the Holy Hour, along with a Divine Mercy Chaplet, Litany of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, and Act of Reparation to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Grand Knight Dave Shallenberger added three reflections suggested by Supreme. The Holy Hour was concluded with support of Sir Knights in Regalia from Assembly 830 during the closing Procession. The Holy Hour had about 35 participants. And throughout the week, including all the Masses, Adoration, Holy Hour, and the various Parish Ministries, the Icon was made available to close to 1500 students and parishioners!
