PGK Dave Breitmayer

Council #11665’s Knight of the Year is Dave Breitmayer. Dave’s a charter member, has held many council positions including GK and remains very active. He’s is a Certified Spiritual Director, pillar of the parish, and extremely active in community Service. 

Dave is a righteous and virtuous man that recognizes his talents are gifts from God rather than personal achievements.

Knights – Charter Member of 11665 in 1995, and held a variety of positions throughout the years, including Chancellor, Financial Secretary, Deputy Grand Knight, Grand Knight, Trustee, and Family Director. And he’s currently a Trustee for the Assembly, as well as a frequent member of musters.

Faith – Trained/Certified as a Spiritual Director, and mentor to many, participant /facilitator of TMIY and Lectio Divino, Exodus 90, co-leader of St. Joseph Society for SFDS, leads many to Christ through his words and example, regular Adorer of the Blessed Sacrament, including exposing the Body (and staying for Adoration at 5AM, and president of Vanguard (Parish Faith Ministries and advisory committee to the Clergy).

Family – Strong family man frequently providing support for his wife, and in-person for his remote siblings, children, and grandkids.

Community – Provides frequent transportation of multiple parishioners both to mass and even Doctors appointments, participates in many of the Helping Hands projects, huge supporter of MANY of the parish and council events that require cooking as well as other logistics (like set-up/cleanup).

Life – Dave is a long-time supporter of Special Olympics and people with Special Needs throughout the community, including in leadership roles to facilitate their events!
