Heartbeats for Life, located in Newark Ohio, is the local branch of the larger Organization of Heartbeat, International. From their website, their “vision is a world where every new life is welcomed and children are nurtured within strong families, according to God’s Plan, so that abortion is unthinkable.” “Heartbeat International’s mission is to Reach and Rescue as many lives as possible, around the world, through an effective network of life-affirming pregnancy help, to Renew communities for LIFE.”

On 3/18/2026, Council #11665 – Fr. Bill Johnson presented $2000 in support of Heartbeats For Life and their life-affirming pregnancy help! The funds came from a combination of our Super Bowl Sub Sale ($600), and donated cash from brothers of the council ($1500). Note: We will be applying for a $400 Grant for ASAP through Supreme using the On-line Grant Application on Supreme’s website. Additionally, thanks to meeting a growth goal for February and March, Supreme has passed on that an additional $250 will be added on top of the council donation! That raised the value of this program to $2750 ($1500 from brothers, $600 from the council, $400 from the Supreme Grant, and $250 from the growth incentive)!

The Super Bowl Sub Sale fundraiser involved 35 brother Knights and about 50 man-hours. And a total of 540 Subs were sold/donated!
