The Knights of Columbus Family of the Month for Fr. Bill Johnson Council #11665 for April 2026 goes to Roger and Sara Menchofer. They have been married for 47 years and have one son, Todd and four grandchildren (Chase, Reid, Vanessa, and Breanna).

Roger (38 years as Catholic) and Sara (cradle Catholic) have been St. Francis de Sales members for 7 ½ years and have since become heavily involved in many aspects of our parish community! They are both well known for their welcoming constant smiles that spread joy year-round!

As a couple, Roger and Sara are frequent 8:30AM Mass Greeters. They are also regulars at Adoration. They’ve been active in many parish programs, including Alpha and the Rescue Project (serving as Table Leaders). They are also members of Teams of Our Lady (TOOL) and have even stepped up as a Pilot Couple for a new TOOL team! And if there’s a benefit or Fish Fry, they are eager volunteers! And if that’s not enough, together they frequently serve as Hospitality Team Members AND support the amazing Golf Cart Ministry (monthly Blessing Bag Ministry)!

Roger joined the Knights in December 2024 as part of the “Knight Before Christmas” initiative and has been an active member since joining! Roger serves as a Lector at the 8:30AM Mass, and is a regular at TMIY and Into the Breach. And Roger was one of the co-founder and treasurer of the Thursday Men’s Golf league!

Sara also serves as a Eucharistic Minister and as part of Soul Sisters!

Roger and Sara are amazing models of a sacramental couple. They have drawn countless others along with them on their faith journey!
